Dinajpur, March 16 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Monday evening visited the graves of his relatives and offered fateha at Sheikh Farid Model Graveyard on the outskirts of Dinajpur town.

On his way to Syedpur Airport from Dinajpur Circuit House to return to Dhaka, the Prime Minister went to the graveyard, said his Deputy Press Secretary Hasan Shiplu.

He said the Prime Minister offered fateha at the graves of his grandfather Md Iskander Majumder, grandmother Taiba Majumder and aunt Khurshid Jahan Haque.

The Prime Minister reached Syedpur airport on Monday morning on his way to Dinajpur to inaugurate a nationwide canal excavation and re-excavation programme.
