Dhaka, March 25 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday unveiled a commemorative postage stamp marking the Independence and National Day.

He unveiled the stamp at his office at the Secretariat around 9:30am, said his Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon.

The Prime Minister arrived at the Secretariat at 9:02am and carried out some official work before unveiling the stamp, he said.

Posts and Telecommunications Minister Fakir Mahbub Anam, Posts and Telecommunications Division Secretary Abdun Naser Khan and Director General of the Directorate of Posts Kazi Asadul Islam were present at the time.
