Dhaka, May 22 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will visit Mymensingh on Saturday to inaugurate the national-level programme marking the 127th birth anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam in Trishal upazila.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the re-excavation of the "Dharar Khal" in Bailor union of Trishal.

A three-day colourful programme has been arranged marking the birth anniversary of the National Poet, featuring a Nazrul book fair and a rural fair.

The Prime Minister will formally inaugurate the national birth anniversary programme of Kazi Nazrul Islam, his Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon said.
