Savar, Oct. 17 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to visit Savar on Sunday to inspect a flower and fruit garden developed on a former garbage dumping site along the Dhaka-Aricha Highway.

During the visit, the prime minister will plant a sapling at the site.

Later, he will attend the National Std. Awarding Ceremony at the 9th Infantry Division of Savar Cantonment at 9am, according to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

Security has been strengthened along the Dhaka-Aricha highway and at other key locations ahead of the prime minister's visit.
