Dhaka, Oct. 21 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will visit Khulna and Bagerhat on Thursday to inspect the Sundarbans, Mongla Port's expansion activities and the proposed BEZA economic zone, among other official programmes.

According to the Prime Minister's Press Wing, Tarique Rahman will leave his Gulshan residence for Tejgaon Airport at 8:30am and fly by helicopter for the Sundarbans at 9am.

Around 10am, he will conduct an aerial inspection of the Hiron Point and adjoining areas of the world's largest mangrove forest before landing at the Nalian Secondary School ground in Khulna's Dakop upazila at 10:30am.

From there, he will travel by road to a launch terminal and then by water to BNS Mongla in Bagerhat.
