, Sept. 30 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to visit Feni on Thursday, joining several programmes in Parshuram and Fulgazi upazilas throughout the day.

It will be his first visit to Feni since becoming the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Md. Suzauddhowla (Sujon Mahmood) said the prime minister will leave his Gulshan's residence for Parshuram upazila by road at 8:30am.

He will attend the inauguration and exchange-of-greetings programme for the rehabilitation of the Muhuri-Kohua Flood Control, Drainage and Irrigation Project (Phase I) on the outskirts of Parshuram upazila and the Kheyaghat Ghat-Muhuri Bridge area around 12:30pm.
