Beijing, June 25 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is set to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Friday, in a high-profile engagement expected to cap his four-day visit to China and further advance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Spokesperson Mahdi Amin on Thursday said the meeting is scheduled to be held at 10:30am local time (8:30am Bangladesh time).

"On the final day of the visit, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping at the historic Great Hall of the People," he told a press briefing in Beijing.
