Dhaka, March 2 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Monday directed the authorities concerned to introduce a dedicated bus service for women in the capital.

The instruction was given to Road Transport and Bridges Minister Sheikh Robiul Islam at the Secretariat on Monday, said Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon.

"The Road Transport and Bridges Minister met the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister enquired about the condition of the road transport sector and gave necessary directives," Rumon said.
