PM Modi announces fast-track courts for paper leak cases
, July 23 -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced that the government will set up fast-track courts to ensure quick trials and strict punishment in paper leak cases, amid growing student protests and political pressure over alleged examination leaks.
In a post on X, Modi said protecting the future of young people is the government's top priority.
"Nothing is more important than the welfare and future of our youth," he wrote, adding that he has directed the authorities to take all necessary steps to establish the special courts.
The Prime Minister said the move is part of a series of measures aimed at protecting students' interests and warned that those responsible for paper leaks would face strict action.
