Jashore, April 27 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman left here for Dhaka on Monday evening wrapping up his daylong visit to the district.

Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon said the Prime Minister arrived at Jashore Airport after attending a programme at the Jashore Club in the evening.

"The flight carrying the Prime Minister departed for Dhaka at 8:00pm," he said.

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Aninda Islam Amit, along with local BNP leaders, saw the Prime Minister off at the airport.

Earlier, Tarique Rahman arrived in Jashore from Dhaka around 10:20am.
