Dhaka, March 14 -- Ambassador of Bangladesh to Mexico, M. Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey, has said that under the charismatic leadership of the newly elected Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the country has begun a renewed democratic journey.

The Ambassador made the remarks at a farewell iftar and dinner he hosted ahead of his return to Dhaka in honour of fellow ambassadors and colleagues of the Bangladesh Mission in Mexico City.

The gathering was attended by the ambassadors of Cote d'Ivoire, India, Pakistan, Turkiye, and Indonesia, as well as diplomatic representatives from Iraq, Azerbaijan, and several other countries.
