Saidpur, March 16 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Monday evening inaugurated a free Wi-Fi service at Saidpur Airport as part of the government's initiative to improve public services and expand digital connectivity at major public places across the country.

The Prime Minister launched the service while returning to Dhaka after completing his visit to Dinajpur.

Prime Minister's Press Secretary Saleh Shibli said the service was inaugurated by scanning a Wi-Fi QR code at the airport.

He said under the government's initiative, free internet services will gradually be introduced at all airports and other important public facilities and establishments across the country.
