Dalian, China, June 24 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman participated in the 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF), also known as Summer Davos, here on Wednesday morning.

The Prime Minister joined the high-level gathering at the Dalian International Conference Centre, according to his Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon.

"The Prime Minister is taking part in the World Economic Forum meeting," Rumon said, adding that Tarique Rahman is also expected to interact with world leaders attending the event.

The conference began at 10:00am local time with the theme, "Innovating at Scale," focusing on how innovation can drive sustainable economic growth and address global challenges.
