Dhaka, June 30 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday inquired after the condition of BNP Standing Committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Miah, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital.

On the Prime Minister's instructions, his personal physician Dr Anam Monowarul Quadir (Bitu) visited the veteran BNP leader at the hospital.

"I came to see Sir on the instructions of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. I spoke to the doctors in charge and learned in detail about the overall progress of his treatment," he said.

Bitu said he also conveyed the Prime Minister's message wishing Rafiqul Islam Miah a speedy and full recovery.
