Dhaka, May 11 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Monday held a meeting on improving the living standards of salt farmers in the country.

The meeting was held at the Prime Minister's Office at the Cabinet Division of the Bangladesh Secretariat, said a release issued by the PM's Press Wing.

It said the meeting stressed ensuring fair prices for salt farmers and discussed various measures to improve their livelihoods.
