Dhaka, June 14 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Sunday discussed the progress and expected benefits of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project with experts.

The meeting was held at the Cabinet Division conference room at the Prime Minister's Office in Secretariat where detailed discussions were held on the BRT project stretching from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to Joydebpur in Gazipur.

During the meeting with the Prime Minister, the experts shared their views on various aspects of the project, particularly focusing on design, station management, passenger services, operational structure and overall effectiveness, according to a press release of the Prime Minister's Press Wing.
