Dhaka, June 23 -- Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) on Tuesday approved a financing target of Tk 160 billion for the 2026-27 fiscal year, marking a 45.34 percent increase from the outgoing fiscal year, with a strong focus on skills development, employment generation and sustainable economic growth for low-income people.

The budget and annual work plan were approved at a meeting of PKSF's General Body held at the PKSF Bhaban-1 in Agargaon, according to a press release.

The meeting also provided necessary directives for the effective utilisation of the Bangladesh Bank incentive fund allocated for the development of the cottage, micro, small and medium enterprise (CMSME) sector.
