People not viewing opposition's street programmes positively: Rizvi
, Sept. 6 -- BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Sunday said people are not viewing the opposition's long march and other street programmes positively as the government has been in office for only six months.
"You are holding long march and various programmes before even six months have passed. Instead of constructively criticising what the government is doing according to its pledges, you, as the opposition, have started showing your presence on the streets. The people are not taking this positively; they are not viewing it favourably," he said.
Rizvi made the remarks while talking to reporters at BNP's central office at Nayapaltan.
