Dhaka, Aug. 27 -- The third session of the 13th Parliament, which began on Thursday, will continue until September 10 next.

The decision was taken at the fourth meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the current Parliament, held at the Cabinet Room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Thursday, with Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad in the chair.

Prime Minister and Leader of the House Tarique Rahman and Leader of the Opposition Dr Shafiqur Rahman and other members of the committee were present at the meeting.

The committee discussed allocation of time for conducting parliamentary business during the third session of 2026 and the duration of the session.

It decided that the session will be held from 3:00pm every day except government holiday...
