Dhaka, July 2 -- Ambassador of Palestine to Bangladesh Yousef SY Ramadan paid a courtesy call on Foreign Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister Humaiun Kobir at the PM's Office on Thursday.

During the meeting, both sides held cordial and fruitful discussions on the longstanding brotherly relations between Bangladesh and Palestine, bilateral cooperation and other issues of mutual interest, according to a Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement.

The Adviser reiterated Bangladesh's continued support for the Palestinian people and stressed Dhaka's position in favour of establishing a just and sustainable peace in the international arena.
