Rajshahi, June 28 -- A man was killed following a dispute over mango harvesting in Mohanpur upazila of Rajshahi on Saturday evening.

The deceased was identified as Abdur Razzak, 45, son of Bhugor Mondol of Hariharpara village under Mougachi union.

According to locals, a dispute had been ongoing between two groups over the harvesting of mangoes. On Saturday, a young man named Russel, son of Nomer Ali, allegedly harvested mangoes from Abdur Razzak's orchard and sold them in the local market.

When Abdur Razzak questioned Russel over the matter, an altercation broke out.
