Dhaka, March 29 -- Government officials are required to remain in their offices from 9:00 to 9:40 am daily, the Ministry of Public Administration said on Sunday.

In a notification, the ministry said the directive follows earlier instructions from the Cabinet Division aimed at ensuring responsible behaviour in offices, saving electricity and energy, and maintaining cleanliness.

The ministry noted that deviations from the instructions have been observed and requested strict compliance.
