Dhaka, Nov. 1 -- NRB World, a diaspora network for Bangladeshis abroad, seeks to mobilise its global network of expatriate Bangladeshis to attract foreign investment, taking advantage of the government's offer of a 1.5 percent commission for bringing investment into the country.

NRB World president, Mohd Shahiduzzaman on Sunday said the incentive would encourage expatriates to use their international business connections to bring foreign investors to Bangladesh and create employment opportunities.

"We want to bring Bangladeshis under one umbrella so that we can utilise their talent, experience and skills and encourage those capable of investing to invest in this country and create employment opportunities," he said at a press conference...
