Dhaka, Aug. 4 -- Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has no specific intelligence suggesting any sabotage plot surrounding Wednesday's observance of July Mass Uprising Day, but has placed the capital under maximum security, Additional Commissioner (Detective Branch) Md Shafiqul Islam said on Tuesday.

Replying to a question while briefing reporters at the DMP Media Centre in the afternoon, he said the police have taken all necessary security measures as the day is considered important.
