New Zealand keen to cooperate in various sectors
Dhaka, May 18 -- resident High Commissioner to Bangladesh David Pine on Monday highlighted New Zealand's interest in working with Bangladesh, especially in the pharmaceuticals, tourism, higher education and food processing sectors.
Praising Bangladesh's active role in combating the adverse effects of global climate change, he hoped Bangladesh will play a stronger role in the international arena.
The envoy made the remarks during a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister's Adviser on Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir. The meeting was held at the Prime Minister's Office.
