, April 2 -- A new outpatient treatment unit was inaugurated at Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute in the capital on Thursday.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Hossain inaugurated the unit, which was constructed by the country's leading pharmaceutical manufacturer and exporter, Beximco Pharmaceuticals PLC, said a press release.

The new outpatient unit will significantly improve access to treatment and better serve underprivileged patients.
