Dhaka, Aug. 19 -- Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Commissioners Dr Jahangir Alam Khan and Dr Md Sajjad Hossain Bhuiyan took charge on Wednesday.

On August 17, the government appointed Justice Asaduzzaman, a retired judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, as ACC chairman and former Secretary Dr Jahangir and former Financial Reporting Council (FRC) Chairman Dr Sajjad as commissioners.

Justice Asaduzzaman retired from the Appellate Division in February this year. Before his elevation to the Appellate Division, he served as a judge in the High Court Division for a long period.
