Dhaka, Aug. 27 -- Nepal has thanked the Government of Bangladesh for its offer of assistance and noted that Nepal would remain in close coordination with Bangladesh regarding any specific assistance that may be required.

Foreign Minister of Nepal Shisir Khanal had a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Bangladesh Dr Khalilur Rahman on Thursday when discussed the situation in Nepal.

Nearly 1,000 missing in Tibet and Nepal after catastrophic border flash floods

On the occasion, the two Foreign Ministers discussed the ongoing search, rescue, and relief efforts in the wake of the disaster.
