Dhaka, Sept. 6 -- The Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari on Sunday called on Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Abdul Awal Mintoo and discussed various issues of mutual interest, including regional climate cooperation.

During the meeting held at the minister's Secretariat office, both sides exchanged views on environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, sustainable forest management, and mitigating the impacts of climate change, according to a PID handout.

He expressed deep condolences at the loss of lives in the recent tragic accident in Nepal and conveyed sincere condolences to the grieving families.
