Dhaka, Oct. 26 -- The National Citizen Party (NCP) on Monday announced a partial convening committee for its affiliated wing, Jatiya Swechchhasebak Shakti, and directed it to form a full committee within 15 days.

In a statement issued in the evening, the party said the committee was formed with the approval of NCP Convener Nahid Islam and Member Secretary Akhter Hossen.

Mahin Sarker has been named convener of the newly formed committee, while Jobairul Hasan Arif has been made member secretary.

Mohiuddin Rony has been given the post of chief organiser.

The party instructed the three-member committee to announce a fully-fledged committee within the next 15 days.
