Dhaka, Aug. 3 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has asked businesses to complete the transition to newly assigned Business Identification Numbers (BINs) by 30 November 2026, following the restructuring of VAT commissionerates, while assuring that import and export activities will continue without disruption during the transition period.

In a press release issued on Monday, the NBR said the reorganisation of VAT commissionerates has been undertaken to broaden the tax net, increase revenue collection, improve taxpayer services and create a more business-friendly environment.
