, Oct. 17 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has asked all customs houses and customs stations across the country to take necessary measures to keep import and export activities running on a limited scale during the government holidays from October 20 to 22 on the occasion of Durga Puja.

In a letter issued on October 15, the NBR made the request in line with a directive from the Ministry of Public Administration to ensure uninterrupted international trade during the holiday period.

The letter asked the relevant authorities to take necessary steps to maintain limited import-export operations at all customs houses and stations during the holiday.
