Dhaka, Aug. 17 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Monday issued a clarification to facilitate the release of imported goods used for solar power generation, amid reports of delays and complications in the assessment of such consignments at different customs houses and land customs stations.

According to the circular, both the existing notification on capital machinery and the notification issued on June 8, 2026 on renewable solar power generation and supply include Solar Photovoltaic/Module/Panel under HS Code 8541.43.00.
