, June 27 -- A woman and her three daughters who were hacked to death in Lakhsmipur district on Thursday were laid to eternal rest at the family graveyard in Homna upazila in Cumilla district on Friday night.

They were buried following a second namaz-e-janaza held at Lotiya Eidgah ground in Lotiya village around 10:00 pm.

Earlier, their first namaz-e-janaza was held in Lakshmipur before the bodies were brought to their ancestral home at Lotiya village in Cumilla.

Shahinur Begum, 38, wife of Md Kamal and her three daughters-- Saima Akter, 21, a student of Dhaka University, Iqra Akter 17, a college student, and Shifa Akter, 9-- were hacked to death in an attack by a young man in Raipur municipality of Lakshmipur district on Thursday.
