Dhaka, July 29 -- A probe committee comprising representatives from Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), Public Works Department and Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) will be formed to investigate the wall collapse incident at Mirpur College, DNCC Administrator Md Safiqul Islam Khan said on Tuesday.

He made the announcement after visiting the accident site in Mirpur-2, where a boundary wall of the college collapsed earlier in the day, killing two people and injuring seven others, many of whom had been waiting to collect subsidised essential commodities from the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB).

The DNCC administrator said the wall was constructed in 2014, but proper construction materials were not used during its construction...
