, April 4 -- The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has cancelled all leave of doctors, officials and health workers across the country until the ongoing measles outbreak among children is brought under control.
The information was confirmed on Friday by a DGHS public relations official, who said an official order in this regard was issued Thursday.
According to the office order, signed by DGHS Director (Administration) Prof Dr Jalal Uddin Mohammad Rumi, the decision was taken following a surge in measles-related pneumonia among children.
