Dhaka, March 15 -- Matiur Rahman Chowdhury, chief editor of the daily Manab Zamin, has been elected president of the Newspaper Owners' Association of Bangladesh (NOAB) for the 2026-2027 term.

The election was held on Saturday, and the committee members were elected unopposed, the NOAB election board chairman M. Masrur Riaz announced the new committee.
