, July 26 -- Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal No 3 as the well-marked low over Northwest Bay & adjoining Odisha-West Bengal coasts intensified into a monsoon depression.

It is now lies over the same area at noon on Sunday about 425 km West-Southwest of Chattogram, 415 km West of Cox's Bazar, 245 km WestSouthwest of Mongla and 265 km West Southwest of Payra, said a special bulletin of Met office.

It is likely to move northwestwards and intensify further.

Under its influence, squally weather may affect the Maritime Ports, North Bay and adjoining Coastal areas of Bangladesh.
