, March 10 -- Police recovered the body of a young man from a room of a residential hotel in the Boro Moghbazar area under Hatirjheel Police Station in the capital on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Faisal Goni,32, a resident of Adarsha Anandalia village in Harinakunda upazila of Jhenaidah district and a son of Md Osman Goni, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hatirjheel Police Station Golam Mortuza.

According to police, the body was recovered from room No. 224 of a residential hotel named "Tinstar."

Police broke open the door and found the body lying on the bed, the OC said.

According to the hotel register, Faisal Goni rented the room on March 8 after arriving in Dhaka for business purposes.
