Dhaka, May 21 -- year-old man died from electrocution at a garage in Baridhara area of the capital on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Md Reaz, an employee of the garage.

Reaz fell unconscious after coming into contact with a live electric wire while switching on the garage lights around 8:30 am, said Zakir Hossain, the owner of the garage.

He was later taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead, said Inspector Md Faruk of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp.
