Benapole, Sept. 1 -- A man allegedly committed suicide after killing his two minor sons following a family dispute in Sharsha upazila of Jashore on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Kamal Hossain, 45, a van puller, and his sons Md Sabir Hossain, 5, and Md Jabir Hossain, 3.

The incident occurred around 4:00pm in the Chotkapota Dakkhinpara area of the upazila.

According to police and locals, Kamal allegedly killed his two children amid a family dispute and later died by suicide after consuming a poisonous substance.

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent them to Jashore General Hospital for autopsy.
