Dhaka, June 14 -- Members of the families of those were victims of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings - associated with the rights organisation Maayer Daak -- met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Sunday after observing the proceedings of the national budget session at Parliament.

The meeting was held outside the chamber at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, said Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony.

Earlier in the day, at the invitation of the Prime Minister, 26 members of Maayer Daak observed the proceedings of Parliament from the Bir Sreshtha Lance Naik Munshi Abdur Rouf Gallery.
