Dhaka, April 18 -- State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque on Saturday said the government has undertaken a comprehensive long-term plan for the overall development of the country's youth, expressing optimism that their active participation can bring about a radical positive change in society.

"A long-term plan has been formulated focusing on the holistic development of the youth society, and it has been directly guided by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman," he said, while addressing an orientation meeting on youth activities held at the headquarters of the Department of Youth Development in the capital.
