, Aug. 17 -- Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humaiun Kobir has urged Lithuania to recruit more skilled and trained manpower from Bangladesh to help meet its workforce needs.

He made the call during a courtesy meeting with Lithuanian Non-Resident Ambassador to Bangladesh Diana Mickeviciene at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon on Monday morning.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a range of issues of mutual interest including bilateral relations, expansion of trade and investment, cooperation in education and information technology.

He also requested Lithuania to establish a visa centre in Dhaka to facilitate the visa process for Bangladeshi citizens.
