, March 13 -- A leader of the Krishak Dal was killed on Friday in a clash between the BNP and Jamaat in Madhabpur village of Jhenaidah Sadar upazila.

The deceased has been identified as Taru Munsi, 56, organizational secretary of the Union Krishak Dal and son of Munsur Ali Munsi of the same village.

He died around 8:00 pm at Dhaka Medical College Hospital after being flown to the capital in critical condition. His death was confirmed by Shahjahan Ali, joint convener of Ganna Union Swechasebak Dal.
