Khulna, Aug. 10 -- Miscreants attacked the office of the Khulna-based daily newspaper "Dainik Probaha" and assaulted a staff member early Monday.

The attack occurred around 2:00 AM.

According to locals, the newspaper's Chief Pasterman, Faisal Ahmed, was working when he noticed a major commotion in the slum located behind the office building. When he attempted to observe the situation through a gap in the wall, several individuals entered the office and beat him before fleeing the scene.

Md. Rafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sonadanga Police Station, said that police visited the scene on Monday morning following the report.
