Dhaka, July 11 -- Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) on Saturday has formed two medical teams to provide emergency healthcare services to people affected by the ongoing floods in different parts of the country.

The information was disclosed in a press release issued by the JCD central committee.

According to the statement, continuous rainfall and hill torrents from India have triggered flash floods in Chattogram, Khagrachhari, Rangamati, Bandarban, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Moulvibazar and Sunamganj, leaving thousands of people stranded and facing humanitarian hardship.
