Dhaka, March 21 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Jatiya Sangsad and Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers around 8:00 am at the Monipur Girls' High School ground adjacent to 60 Feet Road in Mirpur of the capital.

After the prayers, he exchanged Eid greetings with people from all walks of life.

Senior political leaders and local dignitaries also joined the congregation.
