Dhaka, March 26 -- e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the victims of the tragic bus accident at Daulatdia Ferry Ghat in Rajbari.

In a Facebook post, he said, "May Allah Almighty grant Jannatul Firdaus to those who lost their lives in this heartbreaking incident. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wish the injured a speedy recovery."

He also urged the authorities concerned to promptly complete rescue operations, uncover the real cause of the accident, and take effective measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

Dr. Rahman emphasized that the government must take urgent and visible steps to ensure discipline and safety in the transport sector.
