Bangladesh, Sept. 21 -- Islamic University (IU) authorities in Kushtia on Monday postponed an inter-department football tournament after two separate clashes between students of four departments left more than 10 students injured.

The first clash took place around 11:00am between students of the Accounting and Information Systems and Islamic History and Culture departments following an altercation over a throw-in during a match.

The dispute reportedly began after students of the two departments exchanged words over the ball. The situation later escalated, leading to a clash between the students.
